I believed I had the best seasoning for steak, and I happily covered steaks in it. Until my other half said her seasoning was better. We compared flavors and she won that comparison. However, I gained the valuable knowledge of integrating flavor profiles to accentuate natural flavors.

Then I searched for a seasoning so good it could be enjoyed by itself.

Everything I found was overloaded with salt and lacking real flavor.

I wanted something different. I needed something that actually enhanced the meat instead of covering it up.​​

Life can have unexpected draws. A few years ago, a low point turned to reframing life to look at the positive things. I began a story that talked about a positive point of view. The story I told to my kids turned into the book, Look Ahead Moon. (Link below.)

The experience of illustrating my book allowed me to design the Prime Bovine label.

My enjoyment working with my hands led to measuring and mixing experimental flavors.

When I tasted what would be become Prime Bovine, I knew it was something special.​Now I'm obsessed with the seasoning, and you might be too.
